The Franklin H. Williams Award is a Peace Corps hosted event. It is held in Washington, DC at Peace Corps headquarters during the month of June each year. The award is an effort to help create awareness of Peace Corps in the minority community while honoring Returned Peace Corps Volunteers of color for their continued dedication to community service and community leadership.
The award is organized by the Office of Diversity Recruitment. It is recognized on this website to help create the awareness of the award and so that we can help all Regional Peace Corps Offices by suggesting nominees for each respective region.
