| The MPCA Community Teacher's Awards celebrates the efforts of teachers, in the face of the many challenges to education today. Specifically, MPCA hopes this recognition will: ~contribute to Peace Corps' third goal and also promote the MPCA mission, ~promote Education for All, especially education in diverse communities and abroad, ~build awareness about, and support the need for, more diversity among educators within Peace Corps and throughout the nation and ~encourage teachers to continue to inspire, motivate and facilitate discovery and learning for children and young people in minority communities and settings.
