We appreciate your
support and look forward to working with you to achieve our common goals.
The Minority Peace Corps
Association is a non-profit organization founded by returned Peace Corps volunteers
of color, committed to broadening the awareness of Peace Corps in minority
communities while promoting community service and supporting minorities
applying for, serving in or returning from Peace Corps in order to continue to
build diversity within Peace Corps.
Through partnerships, special
events and community outreach activities MPCA strives to strengthen
Americans' understanding
about the world and its peoples.
The MPCA is funded through
fundraising activities, membership dues and through generous contributions by
members and supporters, which helps pay for our website, MPCA newsletter and
other MPCA initiatives.
Membership is open to all that share our mission. You do not have to be a returned Peace Corps volunteer to be a
member of Minority Peace Corps Association.
Your Financial
Support
Will help pay for the Minority Peace Corps Association Newsletter, “Diversity Matters”, which features stories written about returned Peace Corps volunteers of color, who share their Peace Corps experience with our readers. Also, the MPCA fact sheet gives factual information about the Peace Corps and its diversity numbers and information about MPCA. Your financial support will also help pay for the maintenance of the Minority Peace Corps Association website, and help pay for the printing of MPCAs’ informational brochure.
